Everybody Knows the story of the Boy who did not grow up. Fought pirates, danced with Indians and swan with mermaids. Having fairy's and lost boys for company.
Those who make the journey from the second star to the right and straight on til’ morning would usually find a peaceful, warm, imaginative place called Neverland, a world free from worry or harm, but filled with adventure and play time. Now, any soul that happens across this world will see that it is far from happy.
It all started as a normally extraordinary day; Peter and the Lost Boys were causing trouble for Hook and his crew of nasty pirates. The original plan was that they would kidnap Hook’s daughter and hold her ransom until the pirates returned Tink, who had been snatched in an earlier midnight raid.
All went according to plan; Tink was returned. Though, when told to return the girl, The Lost Boys thought it too easy, and kept her captive. Hook found this to be the last straw. He declared war on Peter, and all that is good in Neverland. He vowed that anyone who did not join his forces of darkness would be destroyed.
Peter and the Lost Boys were not entirely troubled by this, as they had leverage. Slowly, one by one, territories were claimed, lines were drawn. The mermaids joined in Hook’s army, while the fairies and Indians joined with Peter. Hook was outnumbered. But he had a secret weapon, one far more powerful than any dark magic; Hook had fear. Peter’s fear of growing up would be his greatest weakness. Hook poisoned the island of Neverland with thoughts of adulthood. He poured into the soil an elixir of hatred, disappointment, anger, jealousy, and evil. The island began to fade immediately, trees dying, snow falling, and immortal boys aging. The fairies light began to dim, and the Indian elders became impatient with Peter’s inability to grow up.
With things at such an all time low, Peter needed a miracle. He needed a friend. And in a last attempt to save Neverland, Peter left to find Wendy.
