Hair: Sofia has dark brown hair that is falls to just beneath her shoulders. It is naturally wavy and thick and the colour lightens during the summer.
Body build : Sofia has always been small and is built like an athlete. Her size shouldn't fool you as all the work on the ship has made her surprisingly strong.
Distinctive Fetchers : She has a red rose on the inside of her left wrist and small scars over her upper arms from fights.
Style : She has always dressed comfortably and is quite a tomboy. When on the ship she wears loose trousers and a white shirt as it is easy to move in. During the summer she usually walks around barefoot but when it is colder she wears black leather knee high boots.

How you came to be
Personality : Sofia can be quite a difficult person to get to know as she is very defensive from her time spent living rough. She can be quite sarcastic and has a dry sense of humour that others can find hard to get used to.
Once she trusts someone Sofia is a very happy and friendly person. She loves to have fun and play pranks and is fiercely loyal. People have to be very honest if they want to be her friend as she can't stand people lying to her.
History : Sofia never knew her parents as she grew up in an orphanage in London. She never got on with the other children and used to fight all the time with them. At school she would either cause trouble or not turn up as she never liked staying in one place for too long. She always got bored easily and looked for any way to have fun.
When she was about 12 she ran away from the orphanage and lived on the streets. She would beg or steal food so she could survive and soon got involved with a street gang. One day she was spotted fighting with an older boy and offered the opportunity to work and get fed. At this point she hadn't eaten for a few days so jumped at the chance of a meal.
It turned out that the man worked on a pirate ship and wanted Sofia on the crew. The man assumed she was a boy and Sofia didn't correct him incase it jeopardised her new role. She worked hard on the ship and was a respected member of the crew. Eventually it got hard to hide the fact that she was a woman but luckily the captain allowed her to stay on board as she was a good worker. It has caused some problems with some of the crew but most just accepted the fact that they had a woman on board the ship.
