Talent : She is an excellent swimmer, can manipulate water if there is a water source. Ruby is also a very skilled singer and can hypnotize a person with her voice. Ruby still doesn’t have control over her talent for hypnosis. She can only hypnotize people when she really concentrates, or sometimes by accident if she gets very emotional. She doesn’t have endless power either, hypnosis drains Ruby’s energy. Luckily she has a lot to spare, but if she tries to hypnotize someone for a prolonged amount of time she will become very weak.

Personality : Ruby is very sensitive and emotional, and can seem easily excitable or dramatic. The type to wear her heart on her sleeve, she appears very innocent and sweet and she is although, underneath that demur sometimes slightly ditzy exterior is a very smart, kind and caring girl. Ruby is a very gentle and big-hearted person. She is eternally optimist and cheery. It is a very rare thing to see her without a smile on her face or a nice word to say about someone. She likes EVERYONE and is warm and friendly to anyone no matter who you are. She sees the good in people (sometimes even when there isn’t any there to see). Ruby has difficulty concentrating for long periods of time, she is easily distracted and likes shiny or sparkly things.
Ruby is playful and fun, she is a very fast swimmer, faster than many of the mermaids in the ocean. She loves exploring and going on adventures. She has an insatiable curiosity. She is a little boy crazy and tends to fall in love easily and then flippantly change her mind from one moment to the next. Upon first impression she can appear fairly timid and shy, but once she opens her mouth you realize that she isn’t. Ruby is very chatty.
History : Ruby was born on Neverland in the sea. She has lived all her life in the oceans of Neverland and is very afraid of Captain Hook, but also simultaneously curious about pirates. She loves helping Peter Pan when he, Tinker Bell, Wendy and the Lost Boys come to visit.
Ruby was always a bit of a late bloomer. On her 16th birthday Ruby got her land legs and could come and go freely on land and sea as she pleased. She loves water more than anything but enjoys exploring on land as well and has made friends with a few fairies and of course the Lost Boys. She can be a little gullible which coupled with her excitable curiosity is probably why she ends up involved in so much trouble and mischief making, all of which is usually lead by her fairy friend Krista.
