Adena was enjoying the fall weather here in the Neverland forest. The sun was glinting through the trees, the leaves were falling around her, and more and more of the sunlight was visible in the canopy. The rain had just stopped and there were still drops in the air. Adena was enjoying using her light to make little rainbows shine around the trees. She was in her small fairy for so as to not attract attention, but if someone paid attention it would look like a sun catcher dancing about.
Adena enjoyed what color her wings were. They looked red from a distance, and Adena herself shined red, but when you got close you could see the small gradient from red to yellow that made her so unique. She was getting tired of flitting about and so she sat on a low branch in the middle of a path through the trees. She wanted to see what was happening.
The feeling of the bark beneath her palms was interesting, but not unfamiliar, and she enjoyed the roughness. She looked down at her red dress and noticed that she had gotten it dirty. She gathered a little bit of water from a leaf and used it to clean off some of the stain. She heard someone coming and she quickly hid amongst the leaves trying to dampen her fairy glow.

Rusty stored when the sun was raising to a gentle swaying of the boat as the tide was going out and lapping against the ship. He stretched out in his ha-mace and dropped off his bed. Pulling his usual black boots one trousers and white top and black leather coat he slipped away from his sleeping quarters where all the smelly men sleep. He did wonder why he had to sleep there sometimes but he did not want to be in the same room as his mum and dad whiles they where getting it on. He was just about to leave the room when he picked up his red scarf that he lost in a bet the night before over a poker hand. He did not think the other man would remember as they had too much rum that night.
As Rusty crept up and out of the hold. He smelt the ocean air fill his lungs it was a dry day and would be good to get out. To sneak off for the day. They where docked onto the beach and before anyone else was up he suck off the boat and onto the sand and quickly jogged to the forest where he could go any wear. As soon as he was under cover he pulled a half empty packet of cigarettes out of his pocket and put one to his lips lighting it with his zippo. He took one long drag. Nothing beet a morning cigarette. He started heading off deeper into the forest he wondered what he would come across today. He pushed the undergrowth back as he walked to until he found a path. He stood there glanced left to right and took the cigarette out of his mouth. He blew out the smock and muttered to himself left. So he headed off. It had been a long time since he had been on land and today he was going to make the most of it.

Adena caught sight of the person coming through the leaves and it shocked her to see a pirate. She thought it could have been one of the lost children, but she didn't realize it was a pirate. She then caught the whiff of cigarette smoke in the air, and she chuckled to herself. This sea man was enjoying his smoke. She flitted from branch to branch following his path in the trees, but she made sure to stay above him so he wouldn't catch her out of the corner of his eyes.
She flitted up behind him and spoke softly, "You know that smoking isn't good for you." She knew that scaring a pirate probably wasn't her wisest idea, but she was lonely, and she didn't really have a lot of friends. She wanted friends, but her sarcasm tended to turn them away from her. She got a good idea in her head and she then quickly flew away into the trees, but she didn't go to far. She wanted to play with him. Again, not her wisest idea, but she was willing to take the risk for a little bit of fun for once.

Rust kept walking until he he heard something in his ear, he quickly pulled his gun from it holster and spun around. With his cigarette in his mouth he looked around. no one was there. He kept it up and spoke whilst he still held the cigarette between hist teeth, "Who's there?" He kept his eyes peeled and did not lower his weapon. for a few moments he just stood there tacking drags of his cigarette standing in a pool of his own smock before thinking the site was clear and continuing walking. He kept his gun in his hand as he walked just in case whoever was talking to him though it be funny to sneak up on him again.
Rusty did not really know where he was going. He had been wondering and not came up with a plan. He scratched his head with the barrel of his pistal and looked around. If he had his bearings right he would be coming up to some cliffs very soon that he would sit on. There was not a lot of wind so it would not be too chilly up there. He finished his cigarette and through the bud to the floor as he kept walking.

Adena chuckled to herself as he spun around looking for her. She was having so much fun playing with him, but soon enough she would have to reveal herself to him. He wouldn't be too happy she was playing with him, but hopefully he would get over it.
As she was following she noticed he was using the barrel of his gun to scratch his chin. "Careful not to shoot off that pretty head," She called to him from behind a tree. She guessed that he was going to the cliffs to sit, and there would be no cover for her there, so she made it her goal to reveal herself there. At least if things got nasty there then she could fly over the water where he couldn't grab her.
'I wonder if he hates fairy's as much as most pirates do...' She thought to herself as she flitted about in the trees. If she wanted to she could scare him right now, but she decided it was probably best not to. She was playful, but she wasn't stupid. She knew to protect herself and other faeries first before doing something completely stupid.

Rust was quit near the cliffs now and he smiled. A day away from the sip and he still wanted to see the sea. He laughed as it was ironic. He heard the voice again and looked around. This was starting to annoying him. Where was it coming from? He thought about all of the story's his father told him about this land. He had only ever seen an Indian and never no lost boys or fairy's or mermaids as he thought about it. would this be he lucky day? he thought well if they wanted to come out he would be more then happy if they did. It was getting a bit annoying that they were just following him. He did not like that he felt a bit vulnerable.
He broke through the trees and was on a open field where the cliffs where he was at the bottom so all the steeper ones where in front of him. He was in no mood to get sweat climbing to the higher ones so he sat on a near by rock. He put his gun back in his holster and brought his packet of cigarettes back out placing another to his lips and lighting he took his nicotine hit. It was a bad habit at his age he knew but else was he going to do to fill his time. He hope whoever was following would show themselves now though.

Adena knew that if she wasn't careful she would get hurt, but once he broke through the trees into the light of day she knew that she was done hiding. She zipped out of the trees, and found a small ledge to sit on where she wouldn't get trampled on if she wasn't careful. The ledge she chose was at the young pirate's head level and she wondered how long it would take for him to notice her.
The breeze stirred, and the smoke from his cigarette blew in her face. She tried holding it back, but she sneezed. It was embarrassing because she was trying to stay hidden, but now that the cat was out of the bag she leaned back against the rock and waited to see what he would do. The rough texture of the rock was surprisingly comfortable, and massaged her back a little. She didn't realize how tired she was until she sat down, and she could have fallen asleep right there had it not been for the sun. She watched the pirate closely, and she noticed that he wasn't bad looking. He had kind of shaggy hair, and he didn't seem to be scarred like most of the pirates she ran into.

Rust watched the waves as they came up against the cliffs below he smiled him and the fresh air no plotting no screaming. He often thought if he was a true pirate as he did not like anything they did. He guessed he was one by birth and on Neverland that would go against him before he could even speck. Just then he heard something. He first reaction was to grab his gun and shoot in the direction it had came from. BANG. He looked to where he had aimed and saw something very small. Was this the first never creature he had ever seen. "merde" He said as he got up and threw his cigarette into the waters below.
He went over to wear he saw the small thing he hoped he had not shot it he would love to talk or take it back to the prates they liked things that would entertain them for a while. Even if it was special enough hook would be pleased. He looked at the rock and there was nothing there he then looked down into the water. Had he really killed it?

Live life without regrets Adena was enjoying the breeze when the pirate must have noticed her. He pulled out his gun, and he fired at her. She was surprised to say the least, and she quickly flew up the rocks to avoic the bullet. She was livid. She couldn't believe someone would shoot at her. She zipped in front of his face, and her anger was causing her light to glow brighter than normal.
"What the heck was that for?" She screamed at him. She couldn't believe that this boy would all of the sudden decide to shoot her. The pirates must have him hard wired to shoot anything that moves. She was irritated, but she would wait to see what he had to say about shooting her. If she wasn't mistaken her anger probably scared him, or it just made him laugh at her. She got it that she was small, but people didn't have to point it out to her. She was well aware.

Rusty fell backwards as something small and light flew into his face making a staring bell sound. It was a fairy a really fairy he could not believe it. He wafted his hand in-front of his face until the thing stopped and moved back a bit. The noise it was making must of been its way it communicated rusty thought it was funny. He was laughing so hard he fell over on his back clutching his belly laughing.
He did not want to talk but he was laughing to hard. "désolé,désolé" He splatted between said between breaths of laughter. He did not want to hurt the thing it was just a neutral reaction. When the thing calmed down in his face and he got control of himself he sat up and talked as normal as he could without laughing again. "It was a natural reaction you really should not sneak up on a pirate you should know that you little thing, why don't you get out here again and talk normally." He said looking round for the glowing orb. but he could not see it. Would that be the last he would see of a never fairy?

Live life without regrets Adena chuckled at herself for not realizing he couldn't understand her tiny form. Most of the lost children understood it, but pirates weren't around enough to try to learn it. She was thrououghly happy she scared him, but she flitted into the woods to change shape. She didn't want him seeing her change, but it was inevitable that he would see both forms.
She changed to her full human size and she looked out at him again with new eyes. He appeared to be about her age, and she had no qualms talking to him, but she was still irritated that he shot her. "I'm coming out of the trees. Shoot me and I will make your life hell." She told him as she stepped out of the comforting shadow of the trees. The sun felt different on her larger form, but she didn't have any issues with it. She still had her wings, and they were as red as ever.

He got up of the floor and dusted his bottoms off of and looked into his pocket for his cigarettes. He sighed he would have to slow down on the smokes until he could nick some more. He looked to the trees as he heard the voice. He put the gun in it holster and hold his hands up far away from his gun so not to be surprised and shoot out again. "I promise i wont shoot." He said as he waited to see who came out of the woods.
He saw a girl come out of the woods and saw a little surprised. He did not know a fairy could look so good he thought they were all green or blue with pointy ears. The only thing that was wired about this one was that she had red wings. He thought that as soon as she got big she would lose the wings. "Sorry i shot at you earlier." He said as he ruffled up his hair, whitest he should the other one in his pocket next to his gun. Running his hand over his packet of cigarettes. He felt rather wired now.

Live life without regrets Adena could see the wonder on the boy's face and she wondered if he had ever seen a fairy before. By the look on his face she judged that he hadn't. "What? Never seen a fairy before? She questioned him. She had a smirk on her face, and if the other fairies saw her they would flip their lids. They didn't condone talking with pirates. Usually it was just the Indians an the lost children.
When he apologized for shooting her she chuckled. "Well shooting at anything that moves is a good way the get someone mighty peeved with you." She told him. She wasn't too thrilled that he shot her either, but she was willing to let it go since he said he was sorry. If he tried it again though she wouldn't be pleased with him. "I'm Adena by the way." She introduced herself. She figured if she was exchanging pleasantries with him she might as well give the young lad her name.

Rusty was still a bit shocked he could not believe a fairy could look like she did. Yes she had wings but she looked like a normal girl. The girl in front of him had attitude and it was a bit wired. He thought all the fairy's would be nice and sweet and want to do anything for children. Yes he was not a child he was a teenager but still. She was not one going to be easy to talk to.
"I have never seen a any never animals before especially a fairy, plus its my natural reaction 'Mam'" He looked the girl up and down she was easy on the eyes and if she was anything to go by he hoped there where even prettier fairy's. He would have a fun time off the boat if this was the case. He looked back to his cigarette box and tutted. He really needed a cigarette but he did not have enough for the day. He looked back to the girl as the girl told him her name. He smiled it was wired name from what he was used to but then he did not have a normal name after all so he did not have a leg to stand on. "Nice to meet you, I'm Rusty"
He then raised one of his eyebrows, "Shouldn't you be doing fairy things?" He asked in his french accent.

Live life without regrets Adena scoffed when she heard him say that he had never before seen a never creature. "Never? I doubt that with your captain taking creatures there all the time, and not sending them back to their homes." She said to him. He was looking at her and she wasn't sure, but it felt like he was looking her over like she was good looking or something. She would never associate with someone like that, but it was interesting to talk to him. He seemed alright.
When she heard his name she thought it weird, but he was a pirate and she had no clue how their names were. Look at their captain's name. Hook. When he asked if she should be doing fairy things she chuckled. "Not today because there are no lost children that need my help" She said to him. She was telling the truth, and she wondered if he had anything that he was going to do today that she was interrupting. "What about you? Have any pirate business you need to attend to?" She asked him in return to his question.
